On course to become one of Switzerland’s leading business centres.

Continuing on a growth trajectory

The D4 Business Village Luzern is a true success story. Since opening in 2003, it has attracted over 100 companies, helping to transform the Lucerne Rontal area into a thriving economic hub known as Future Valley Lucerne. This growth is set to continue. The progressive tax policies of the Canton of Lucerne and the efforts of Lucerne’s Economic Development Agency make the region an attractive location for companies from both Switzerland and abroad.

The growth strategy is based on the four pillars that the D4 stands for: location, architecture, networking and services. New buildings are creating space for companies from a wide range of sectors. The varied tenant mix offers excellent potential for synergies and boosts the competitiveness of companies situated at the D4. To support tenant companies and their employees, the range of external services (fitness, childcare, hairdressers, etc.) is being further expanded and adapted in line with evolving needs. In terms of sustainability, the D4 Business Village Luzern has already set major benchmarks with one of Switzerland’s largest geothermal diffusion storage systems, three photovoltaic installations and a carbon-neutral wood chip heating system – and it plans to continue leading the way in this area.
